This Pain Is Mine is an intimate and searing two-hander that unfolds in real time. What begins as a hopeful escape spirals into a reckoning with love, responsibility, and the brutal cost of wanting more. Told from the perspective of an infant too young to understand but too present to ignore, This Pain Is Mine is a raw, unflinching portrait of rupture, longing, and the stories we tell ourselves to survive.
This Pain Is Mine was written, directed and recorded for 360-degree Virtual Reality, casting audiences as part of the play and allowing them to experience the story of Leah and Anne – a romance ending before it’s begun – right from the middle of the action.
